Terms

Terms of Use

These terms cover use of the Kiwi Wheel & Tire static website and its direct information route for tyre and wheel services in New Zealand. Last updated for the 2026 publishing year.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or browsing this website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. Kiwi Wheel & Tire provides reliable tyre and wheel services across New Zealand. This website is an informational surface that helps drivers understand tyre fitting, puncture repairs, wheel balancing, tyre replacements, and related workshop guidance. It does not replace a written job card, invoice, warranty document, or in-person inspection completed at our workshop.

These terms apply to visitors who read service pages and legal documents, and to anyone who contacts us by email or telephone using the published desk details. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms on this page.

Website use

The website provides general workshop planning information. It does not create a membership contract, automated booking, payment relationship, online account, or guaranteed appointment slot. Stock levels, brand availability, bay capacity, and same-day repair eligibility can change without prior notice. You may view and print pages for personal planning. You may not scrape large volumes of content, misrepresent affiliation with Kiwi Wheel & Tire, disrupt hosting, or frame our pages inside another site without permission.

Service information and quotes

  1. Service and package pages are informational summaries for comparison and planning before you visit or call the desk.
  2. Tyre sizes, load ratings, speed symbols, repairability, balancing needs, guest vehicle access, billing period, cancellation route, and staffed hours can vary by vehicle condition and workshop load.
  3. Use the direct desk route to request a current written quote or job terms before making a purchase decision. Verbal estimates may change after inspection of the tyre, rim, or vehicle.
  4. Website imagery and descriptions illustrate typical workshop activity. They are not a guarantee that a specific brand, compound, or finish is in stock on your visit day.

We specialise in tyre fitting, puncture repairs, wheel balancing, and tyre replacements. Our goal is to keep your vehicle safe, comfortable, and ready for every journey. We offer professional service, quality workmanship, and affordable solutions, but the final scope of work is confirmed after a technician assesses your vehicle.

Workshop visits and vehicle responsibility

When you bring a vehicle to Kiwi Wheel & Tire you remain responsible for accurate information about ownership, known damage, previous repairs, and any safety concerns. You should remove valuables from the cabin when practical and follow staff instructions while on the premises. Vehicles left for work may be moved within the workshop for fitting and balancing. We take reasonable care, but you acknowledge that workshop environments involve lifts, tools, and moving equipment.

Repairs are not always possible. Sidewall damage, outdated repairs, excessive wear, or structural rim issues may require replacement rather than a patch. If we advise that a tyre is unsafe to repair, continuing to drive on it is at your own risk. You should not request work that would leave the vehicle unsafe for New Zealand road conditions.

Pricing, payment, and cancellations

Prices shown in conversation or on informal quotes may exclude certain options such as specialised valves, TPMS service, disposal fees, or wheel refinishing unless those items are listed. Payment methods accepted at the desk will be confirmed at the time of sale. Online checkout is not offered on this static website.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked fitting or repair window, contact the desk as early as practical so the bay can be offered to another driver. Repeated no-shows may affect future booking priority. Package terms, where offered, are governed by the written summary provided when you purchase, not solely by marketing copy on this site.

Intellectual property

Text, layout, branding, logos, and photographic materials on this site are owned by or licensed to Kiwi Wheel & Tire unless otherwise noted. You may not copy substantial portions for commercial reuse, create derivative marketing sites that imitate our brand, or remove notices from downloaded materials. Limited quotation for personal reference is acceptable when you keep context accurate and do not imply endorsement of unrelated products.

Limitations and disclaimers

Workshop content on this site is general information and not a substitute for a technician inspection. Driving safety depends on tyre condition, pressure, load, weather, and vehicle maintenance beyond what a webpage can assess. Speak with a qualified technician before relying on a repair or replacement decision when you are unsure.

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Kiwi Wheel & Tire is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website, reliance on outdated page text, temporary hosting downtime, or decisions made solely from website summaries without desk confirmation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act or other mandatory consumer protections that apply to goods and services we supply.

Changes and third-party sites

We may update service descriptions, contact details, package language, or these Terms of Use as the business evolves. Material changes appear on this page. If you leave our site through a browser action or search result, those destinations have their own terms. We are not responsible for external websites you choose to visit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Disputes relating to website use are subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts, without limiting any mandatory local consumer rights that apply to in-person services performed at our Lower Hutt workshop.
